Covid-19 Update

We have been actively monitoring the situation with regard to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  Our top priority is to ensure the welfare of our employees, contractors and tenants whilst also ensuring that we are able to continue to maintain the high level of service that all our landlords and clients have come to expect from us.

We are taking steps to mitigate the impact of the changing situation, in line with guidance from the government and UK authorities.

We wish to reassure you that, like many independent businesses, we are still working through this period. We do however understand all the concerns that have been raised already and we will of course prioritise safety at all times.  We are constantly monitoring the situation and will update you in due course should there be unavoidable changes to our service.

We are currently taking the following steps and will continue to update this as necessary;

Washing our hands and using hand sanitisers throughout the day.

We constantly handle keys and paperwork so we are always mindful of this.

Reducing the in-person contact

Wherever possible, gas safety checks, EPC assessments and emergency repair works will still be carried out in order to maintain the legal requirements for tenancies.

If you are self isolating and need to refuse entry for a short period, please let us know and update us as soon as you are able to give access again.  If you need contractors to attend, please let us know so we can ensure all appropriate safety precautions are put in place.Routine Periodic Inspections will be suspended temporarily from Thursday 19th March 2020.  If you have already been notified of an inspection visit that has not yet taken place, this will be postponed and you will be notified of a new date in due course.

Viewings will continue as normal unless the property is currently tenanted.

For empty properties, viewers will need to confirm that they have not experienced any of the Covid-19 symptoms, before booking and also before we grant entry to the property.  We will not be greeting anyone with a hand shake and we will be making sure we wash our hands throughout the day.

If an available property is currently tenanted, we may not be able to offer viewings temporarily.  We will be working on strategies to resolve this as soon as possible.

We will review the situation continuously and will immediately return to normal procedures at the earliest opportunity, as soon as it is safe to do so.  If you have any specific queries not covered above, please email us and we will respond to them individually.
