James is the founding member of the firm and is a highly experienced estate agent having started his career back in 2001. He has lived locally for his whole life and has an in-depth knowledge of the area and the local community.

James set up Hamlet in Wincanton in 2010 and is responsible for the day to day running, overall direction, business development and management of the company.

James lives with his wife Phillippa and three daughters Tilly, Florence and Kitty. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and competing in triathlons, he also participates in long distance obstacle course events.

Sandra joined Hamlet in November 2016. She is also born and bred in the area, having always lived and worked here, strengthening our local knowledge and experience.

Sandra worked with James previously at another local estate agency where she gained eight years experience between 2000 and 2008, before moving to Blackmore Vale Lettings. In 2010 they opened an office in Bruton, Somerset Lettings, which Sandra managed for six years until James bought the business in 2016 and she came to join our team.
Her family commitments means she is always kept busy but she does find time to spend with Ziva her Australian Shepard.

Jacquelyn joined Hamlet in September 2018 as a Trainee and has been based in the Wincanton office as a Lettings Negotiator ever since.

She has added valuable experience to our team, mainly gained in the retail industry over 5 years as a Customer Service Manager. She has always lived locally in the South West and moved from Wiltshire to Wincanton in 2012 to live with her partner Tom.

Jacquelyn spends her free time with her friends and family, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing rugby and regularly competes in Flyball competitions with her border collie.
